Independent Science Project Proposal
For my independent science project I would like to do the read a scientific book, write a review and educate my peers on the subject. The book I “The Disappearing Spoon: and Other True Tales of Madness, Love, and the History of the World from the Periodic Table of the Elements” by Sam Kean. This book is about how the elements of the Periodic Table played a part in human history. It also references the lives of the scientists who discovered the elements. It is categorized as non-fiction science, after reading the book reviews and the summaries; I feel that it would be a good book to use for this project. I am very interested in the elements, memorizing them, and learning how they work in the real world.
Outline:
I am reading a book and righting my notes (outline) as I read.
